Job Description:
Eclipse Scientific is looking for an experienced sales & marketing professional to support our fast paced, progressive organization. We are seeking multi-disciplined professionals having backgrounds in sales, sales cycle management, social media, graphical design and multi-media promotion.

• Meet sales & marketing revenue targets by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures
• Supporting sales efforts with organization, planning, and communications
• Planning and executing on trade show attendance and promotion
• Identify and recommend the development of targeted sales activities with coordinated action plans
• Develops content for newsletters, internet, social media and other communication for customers and employees
• Conferences, Seminars, Trade Shows, OEM Events and similar opportunities :
  • Helps select appropriate ones
  • Schedules, Confirms, Orchestrates, Advertises events
  • Organizes, sets up for, attends and supports events
  • Post-event follow up and analysis
• Writes, designs, edits and publishes materials related to advertising
• Coordinates/executes web site design/ content/ regular updates
• Monitors/redirects and/or responds to marketing/business development-related correspondence

 
Job Requirements: 
Candidates need not have all of the following but preference will be given to candidates who provide the strongest combination of:

• Marketing diploma/degree from accredited post-secondary educational institution
• Minimum 3 years full time experience in similar sales and/or marketing role
• A strong leader, able to set and meet goals within a fast paced, customer focused environment
• Participative management style, with the ability to motivate others
• Strong project planning, problem solving, analytical and organization skills
• Knowledgeable and confident business sense
• Willingness to take ownership of activities, consistently accomplishing goals
• Excellent communication and formal presentation skills to support the public image of Eclipse
• Demonstrated high level of initiative and administrative effectiveness – a self-starter who can work independently
• Candidates must have proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Dreamweaver, Adobe CS5 InDesign and Illustrator, CorelDraw 14.
• Candidate must possess current valid Ontario driver’s license and be insurable on company vehicles
• Previous experience with tradeshows/seminars an asset
• Multi-lingual an asset (English, French, Spanish, Portuguese)
