Job Description
Calling all sports lovers, upper year students, and recent grads! This exciting summer role is a combination of sports marketing, league management, and game coordination.
As a summer student, you will get to do a little bit of everything in this role, gaining experience in marketing, member service, facility maintenance, and league/event management.
Responsibilities

Working at game locations throughout the city to coordinate league play, promote FCSSC, and solicit member feedback

Delivering exceptional member service, both on and off the field

Working both independently and in collaboration with our marketing specialist, to build our following through impactful story telling and co-create and execute marketing plans and strategies

Assisting with the marketing, planning, and execution of special tournaments and events throughout the summer

Complete market research to inform and support FCSSC’s growth plans

Maintain sports facilities including grading baseball diamonds, lining pickleball courts, and soccer fields

Managing sport equipment inventory

You have:

Experience using social media as a marketing tool – content creation & delivery, use for impact, measuring results

A university or college degree (in progress or completed), preferably in Sports Management, Rec & Leisure, Marketing or a related field

Any experience with SEO, Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Canva is considered an asset
Required:

A valid driver’s license and personal transportation (having your own vehicle is essential to work at game locations all over the city)

This role is in-person, based in London, Ontario
Working Hours:
This position offers full-time hours that will vary depending on league & event schedules. Most shifts will be afternoons & evenings. Weekend work will be required for special events.
Compensation:
This position pays $15.50/hour. FCSSC's Summer Student can play for free in any FCSSC league or event!
