Job Description
Our client located in London, Ontario is currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst.
Reporting directly to the Controller our ideal candidate will be a career oriented professional who is confident they can play a leading role as a part of the finance team working in an expanding, dynamic environment that recognizes outstanding performance!!!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible to assist the preparation and management of departmental budgets
- Analyze and report on daily, weekly, and monthly accounting activities and annual budgets
- Assist in all monthly closing activities, timely and accurately
- GL account reconciliations, monthly closing journal entries
- Prepare monthly volume reporting
- Acts as business partner to assigned areas of the business
- Assist in the annual budget process & period forecasts
- Overhead cost analysis
- Support Section 404 Sarbanes Oxley testing and compliance
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and track results
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- College Diploma or University Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
- Holds or is actively pursuing CMA or CGA
- Experience in financial analysis and cost accounting
- Strong communication and presentation skills required
- Advanced Excel to develop financial models and templates
