Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities

Evaluate all supplier PPAP submissions and report on status to Purchasing and Quality Managers

Monitor supplier performance through receiving inspection to Production / assembly operations

Investigate quality concerns, gather relevant information and communicate results

Issue Quality Alerts and Supplier Corrective Action in Plex to suppliers when required

Follow up with suppliers and verify that corrective actions are appropriate to close quality issues

Maintain the Problem Log in Plex, advise on improvements and provide training as required

Issue Supplier Performance Reports per the Marwood supplier development and evaluation process and provide weekly/monthly/annual reports as required

Coordinate internal and external material testing related to suppliers and out-sourced services

Maintain all production supplier files, including quality concerns, test results and related information into computer systems as per the TS 16949 requirements

Assist in root cause investigations of quality concerns both internally and externally

Serves as backup for other Quality and technical positions as required
- Actively participates on Marwood project teams and other assigned or relevant duties
- Maintain close communication with suppliers to ensure Marwood requirements are received, acknowledged and properly understood
Minimum Education / Training Required
- OSC Grade 12 or equivalent
- 2 years direct experience with ISO/TS 16949 and related standards

Internal Auditor course and audit experience

3 years related experience with Tier I Automotive manufacturing

Computer efficiency and systems knowledge in all required areas
