Job Description
Front End Developer – WordPress
We are working with a local client to help them find a front-end developer. They are looking for someone who can be an integral part of projects ranging from a simple word press landing page to elaborate corporate websites to custom designed e-commerce websites. As a fully integrated agency, our client also provides several non-website design services from digital marketing, corporate branding and traditional marketing campaigns and collateral.

They are looking for someone who can be an integral part of projects ranging from a simple word press landing page to elaborate corporate websites to custom designed e-commerce websites. As a fully integrated agency, our client also provides several non-website design services from digital marketing, corporate branding and traditional marketing campaigns and collateral.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop creative, functional and responsive websites and web applications from concept to launch
- Work closely with accounts team, digital team and other design studio members
- Deliver high-quality, pixel-perfect results
- 5+ years of experience creating high-performance web sites and a solid portfolio to back it up
- Be knowledgeable of UX/UI, AODA and front-end optimization for the best user experience across platforms/devices
- Understanding of graphic design concepts to develop with comps with little direction
- Expert level understanding of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
- Intermediate to Expert level experience with WordPress and best-in-class plugins and themes
- Responsive web design experience using jQuery and/or Bootstrap
- Knowledge of consuming REST services using Ajax technologies
- Ability to work with AngularJS or similar frameworks
- Basic understanding of database concepts
- Agency background is an asset
- Knowledge of HTML DOM manipulation techniques are a plus
- Have a passion for great design and an even bigger passion for great user experience
- Meticulous attention to detail
