Office Administrator and Reception for Law Firm

Job Description
We are looking for a detail oriented, intelligent and hard-working individual to provide front desk administrative support to our law firm.
 
Responsibilities Include:
  • Perform reception duties – greeting clients, answering phones, clerical duties, catering and boardroom management
  • Working with clients on a professional level both in person and over the telephone
  • Update online work calendars and schedules
  • Place supply orders and receive incoming shipments
  • Receive and appropriately distribute incoming mail and faxes
  • Provide administrative support for meetings, events and conferences
  • Package and prepare documentation for various courier shipments within prescribed timelines
  • Perform inventory checks and restocking
  • File, label, and perform data entry of files for storage retrieval
  • Adhere to firm standardized filing methods and procedures
  • Opening and closing files using PCLaw
  • Assist with other office duties in support of the team as required
 
We ask that you possess the following qualifications:
  • High school diploma, GED or other equivalent
  • Computer knowledge and skills – Word, Outlook, Excel, PCLaw, Primafact
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Highly organized
  • Service oriented
  • Team player
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to stay focused on tasks
  • Salary commensurate with experience.
