Service Desk Administrator

London Hydro is currently recruiting for a Part-time Service Desk Administrator to work in our Information Systems Department for approximately six (6) months.

Under the direction of the Director, IT Infrastructure, you will work in a team-based atmosphere and be responsible for the administration of the Information Systems Service Desk.

This part-time position will require working up to 24 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

More specifically, as a Service Desk Administrator, you will:
  • Interface with the end users in person, over the phone and via email.
  • Enter, track and update tickets for infrastructure and applications management.
  • Identify, research, resolve, and follow up on level-one incidents.
  • Monitor, escalate and reassign tickets.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks and a variety of more complex tasks.
  • Monitor performance indicators and service level performance of the Service Desk.
The qualified Service Desk Administrator we seek must be able to meet the following requirements:
  • Computer Systems college diploma or certificate.
  • Strong knowledge of service desk operations. 
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
