Craigwood Youth Services is a fully accredited not-for-profit children’s mental health centre providing a variety of innovative youth serving programs with locations in London and Ailsa Craig.   London is a designated area in Ontario under the French Language Services Act; bilingual candidates are encouraged to consider this opportunity.

Relief Staff - Child & Youth Work

 
We are seeking qualified relief staff to work at our residential facilities in London and Ailsa Craig.   You will be responsible for the support, safety and security of the youth in our care.  As a member of a multi-disciplinary team, you will possess the ability to facilitate and motivate youth to work cooperatively, individually or in a group setting.  The hourly rate is $16.78.
 
The following is required from the successful candidates:
  • A valid full ‘G’ class Ontario driver’s license, current Driver’s Abstract and your own reliable transportation  (The majority of shifts are at our Ailsa Craig campus)
 
  • Applicants must be available 8 shifts each month that support a 24 hour per day, 7 day per week work schedule (day, evening, night and weekends)
 
  • Current Police Records Check & Vulnerable Position Screening, Health Assessment
 
  • Post secondary education in the human service field or equivalent in education & experience
 
  • Red Cross Standard First Aid/CPR Certificate
 
  • If successful you must be available to complete four (4) full days of mandatory agency training on March 30th, March 31st, April 1st, and April 2nd, as well as unit orientations on April 6th and 7th.
