Location: Ability to work from any of our locations in London, St. Thomas or Woodstock.  Some travel to all three locations will be required as needed.
Status:    Full-time (35 hours/week), one year contract with the potential for extension.

Position Summary:


Under the direction of the Director of Operations, you will initially be responsible for supporting the operations team through database migration projects (client and fundraising) and supporting the migration to an integrated Office 365 environment. The role involves data and systems migration of three organizations into one and includes data management/architecture, assistance with training and education to staff of new processes and system functionality, developing and preparing metric and statistical reports for all aspects of the organization. 

Our mission at the Alzheimer Society is to alleviate the personal and social consequences of dementia. We provide counselling, education, support groups and social recreation programs for individuals living with the disease, their families and care partners.

Qualifications:
 
  • Completed post-secondary education in computer science or related field of study;
  • Demonstrated experience in organization and information systems, database administration, data architecture;
  • Ability to code data extracts and develop reports – HTML coding experience an asset
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data;
  • Experience with pivot tables an asset;
  • Knowledge and experience in project management an asset;
  • Ability to plan work, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines;
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with staff;
  • Proficiency with Office 365;
  • Experience with Athena software, Raiser’s Edge or similar non-profit database an asset;
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Immediate Supervisor:  Director of Operations

Responsibilities:
 
  • Work closely with the operations team to support all phases of the data migration and systems integration projects;
  • Monitor and audit to ensure success of systems integration;
  • Develop the data scheme/architecture for the integrated organization
  • Develop new reports;
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly statistic reports as required;
  • Provide metrics to management team for ongoing review of activities;
  • Analyze data, provide projections;
  • Responsible for review of data processes, clean-up projects and ongoing; improvements to systems;
  • Support the technology needs of the organizations.


Evaluation:
  • Successful migration of data platforms and systems integration
  • Three, six, twelve month performance review


*Currently due to Covid-19, this position will be done both from home and the office.  This job will require consistent wearing of proper PPE and completing education in proper Public Health guidelines surrounding PPE and Covid-19 protocols.
