Job Description

Our client in London, Ontario is currently seeking a full-time Bookkeeper on an evaluation hire basis. The ideal candidate will be experienced in all bookkeeping functions, managing inventory levels, and will be an expert in Simply Accounting.
 
Duties (may include and not limited to)
  • Accounts Receivable and Payable
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries and reconcile accounts
  • Verify receipts and packing slips
  • Monitor and adjust inventory levels
  • Compile and analyze inventory reports
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Other general accounting/administrative responsibilities as required
Requirements
  • College Diploma or University Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting related role
  • Must have experience with inventory; monitoring, adjusting, analyzing
  • Expert level knowledge of Simply Accounting required
  • Must be comfortable working with the MS Office Suite; particularly with Excel
  • Ability to perform duties accurately with a level of precision while maintaining a steady workflow
Compensation dependent upon experience
 
Hours Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
