Key Responsibilities
- Creating layouts for brochures and other print pieces
- Contributing ideas and design artwork for new projects
- Coordinating for production of print pieces
- Creating promotional material ( signs and signage systems) for trade shows/public exhibition
- Perform maintenance and updates to existing websites as required
- Contribute to the overall development of web SEO efforts
Qualifications
- Must have a post- secondary education in Marketing, Business, or similar, with a special interest or courses in Graphic Design and/or Multi Media.
- Knowledge of different formats for printing regarding pixelimage, vectorgraphic, pdf, eps, rgb, cmyk, jpg, tiff, png, ai and more
- Extensive experience with Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, web editors (Dreamweaver, Flash), JavaScript, CSS, PHP and dynamic HTML
- Extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience with cross-browser and cross-platform issues (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.)
- Knowledge of current web-design trends and techniques, a strong online portfolio displaying user-centered design, and experience with web database solutions
- Knowledge of different format for web regarding image, vector, html, xml, jpg, gif, flash and more.
- It is key that you are able to work independently with little supervision, however, can work collaboratively and interact with various levels throughout the organization, and with the other businesses. There is a lot of project management , and working under tight deadlines.
