Ownership of social media engagement tactical plan which includes social media training, targeted promotional campaigns and staff engagement. Responsible for strategic website improvements and maintenance, in addition to unique and specific graphic design.

Duties Include:
- a leadership role in web development, content management and maintenance
- a leadership and training role in digital marketing (i.e., facebook, twitter)
- ability and confidence to work within the YMCA brand standards
- production of design that meets brain standards and supports the department’s marketing strategy (including simplicity, emotional impact and clear call to action)
- management of an electronic and printed inventory of marketing materials
- leadership of all creative development and assistance in copywriting
- proficiency in writing and editing copy
- management and prioritization of numerous and varied projects in a thoughtful and efficient manner
- successful interaction with printers and sign companies
- availability to make urgent changes on association website and facebook pages outside of normal work hours and weekends
Position Requirements:
- University degree or minimum 5 years experience in a related field
- Post secondary diploma in graphic design or equivalent experience
- Demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to produce effective communication layouts
- Experience with content management systems
- Expertise in social media i.e., facebook, twitter beyond personal use; ability to train, lead workshops
- Efficiency in print processes
- Customer service orientation
- Experience with content management systems and ability to take a leadership role in web content management development/maintenance
- Exhibit proficiency in writing and editing copy
- Must provide a current criminal record check as per the Association’s policy
