Job Description
- Develop and implement packaging solutions through direct contact with clients while obtaining price/cost estimates, sample/material needs and designing requirements for less complex projects
- Provide any modifications or improvements of existing package designs, methods and/or solutions, responsible for cost savings initiatives
- Project manage without supervision for packaging implementation from start to finish including being responsible for meeting (under the guidance of a Subject Matter Expert) all corporate and country regulations
- Demonstrate competency in negotiation strategies, market knowledge, advanced data analysis capabilities
- Provide training and input to Packaging processes while understanding the needs of the internal client and making recommendations where required.
- Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Materials Management or related discipline
- Must have good computer skills: MS Word, Excel; SAP (preferred asset)
- Demonstrate excellent Interpersonal & communication skills
- Previous packaging experience an asset
- Experience in managing chemical commodity is an asset
