Job Description

An Expanding manufacturer of Precision Tooling, Dies and Special Machines has an IMMEDIATE openings for 2 Full-time Permanent Jig Grinder Positions.

GRINDER

General Description:

Set up and operate manual Grinders according to instructions and engineering drawings.

Skill/Effort Requirements:

Change tooling and wheels while making the proper offsets and setups as needed.
Interpret Blue Print Dimensions
Strong understanding of G M Codes and handheld inspection tools
Understand and flow of machining policies and instructions: MI,QSI,ISO,SOPs, work rules and safety guidelines
Experience machining components to tight tolerances and work independently.
Strong interpersonal skills, a team focus, and the ability to work in cross functional teams and develop collaborative relationships
Effective decision making and problem solving skills with the ability to work under pressure/stress to meet tight timelines and schedules

Responsibilities:

Meet schedules and maintain quality standards
Must be available for all shifts

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Completion of General Machinist/Tool Maker Papers (preferred)

Working Conditions:

Exposure to dirt and noise in a manufacturing environment
