SENIOR PERFORMANCE CONSULTANT


The Need
:
 
The Minery, located in London, Ontario is looking to hire a Senior Performance Consultant.  The right candidate has at least ten years experience in a Corporate training and development role or as an independent Management Consultant. 
 
This position requires travel across Canada and the United States.

The Perfect Candidate:
 
The right individual has a well-rounded background in organizational development with a focus on strategy, leadership, human resources and performance management. Ideally this person has worked in the automotive industry. 
 
This individual must possess strong facilitation skills with the ability to work with clients to understand their needs and quickly be able to determine the right intervention or solution. 
 
This individual must be confident in their approach with clients.   This person must be a self-starter and be able to identify all steps / activities that are required to implement a successful solution.
 
This individual is a “big picture thinker,” with “feet on the street” experience.  This person pulls from their experience, stories, examples of things that worked and did not work, and strategies for dealing with difficult people.
 
This individual must possess the ability to conduct focus groups and / or planning retreats, where they are listening and capturing feedback and moving the group from Point A to Point B.  This individual understands the art of probing and knows how to reframe a question to get a better result. This person realizes the value of time and accordingly is flexible in their approach.
 
This individual is inspirational and has the ability to mobilize people to believe in a cause.   They do not get despondent if people are negative and counteractive; they believe that all people have the potential to be better.
 
This individual has the ability to develop a complex solution and express their thoughts articulately on paper.  They are comfortable managing the moving parts of all projects and working collaboratively with a team to make solutions come alive.  They are strong developers, creative designers and word-savvy as they strive to continually push the boundaries of excellence.
