Quality Assurance Analyst

What will you do as a Software Tester at MCCG?
As a member of the QA team you will have the opportunity to work closely with other talented members of our team to support, maintain and ensure the quality a large/complex Insurance software system. You will create test plans, write manual test cases and execute manual tests. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks and develop your skills in many ways.

What will you do as a Software Tester at MCCG?

Requirements of the Software Tester:
- A Minimum of 3 years’ Experience in Insurance related roles;
- Community College diploma or some level of post-secondary education and / or Professional Certification in Insurance (CIP);
- Experience working in a team based environment on teams of various sizes and composition.
- Good communication and facilitation skills, is an involved team player;
- Good risk assessment, quantification, and issue resolution/escalation skills;
- Good organizational and time management skills with an ability to complete multiple concurrent assignments.
Preferred Knowledge of the Software Tester:
- Experience in Functional testing, System testing, User Acceptance testing, Exploratory testing;
- Advanced knowledge and experience in software testing processes, quality controls, methodologies, and standards;
- Knowledge and experience in agile project management methodologies such as scrum;
- Nice to have knowledge of Test management tools like QA Complete.
