Job Description
Are you an ambitious HR professional with over 5 years’ solid generalist experience? Do you love digging into HR problems and discussing solutions?
HRP4B is a leading provider of outsourced HR, recruitment and training services. We provide flexible people solutions to small and mid-sized organizations, helping them use HR best practices to improve their results and we support larger companies with projects.
We’re looking for an eager HR professional to join our growing team of HR Experts to provide our clients with remote and or onsite HR Management support, training, and various HR projects.
This individual will be responsible for customers who are located in the St. Thomas and surrounding areas. The preferred candidate should be located within a reasonable commute of the London area and or willing to travel throughout SW Ontario. You are able to perform some work from home but you must be able to provide on-site services in the SW Ontario area. You may be required to meet clients at our office space in St. Thomas, Ontario.
The Role
As the go-to HR professional for a few organizations, you’ll have a seat at the decision-making table, working with client Managers to execute HR projects and strategies that achieve business results. You will have the support of the entire HRP4B team to help you deliver our services.
As a trusted advisor, you’ll build a solid network of executive contacts that will drive your career.
Your work will vary from week to week, and will include all the major HR areas:
We are looking for more than a checklist of skills and experience, we’re hiring for attitude, smarts and people skills.
This role may start out as just a few days a week.
You’ll need to make great impressions and build relationships quickly. You will be comfortable presenting yourself as a professional. When you go onsite, you will never be hidden behind a cubicle or door. You’ll be working with the Owners and Managers of small and midsized clients, so we’re looking for people who are excited by the opportunity to show what they can do.
You’re the right fit for this role if you are:
Customer focused – you have a service mentality, and consider a well-served and satisfied customer your ultimate goal.
Creative – you’ll be working in complex contexts, where finding the right solution will consistently involve outside-the-box, third way thinking.
Resilient – our customers often come to us with stressful issues. You’re good at handling tension and comfortable in difficult situations.
Business savvy – you can see and articulate the specific value that HR best practices will bring to your clients. You know when to offer more services to support the customer.
Sense of Urgency – you can think on your feet and you are comfortable with tight timelines to wow our customers.
Skills & Experience Required:
While collaboration is common place at HRP4B, you’ll also be given autonomy and space to do the job how you see fit. You won’t ever feel micromanaged.
How to Apply
We value diversity and inclusion and encourage all qualified people to apply.
Please send your cover letter and resume to Katherine@hrp4b.com. Only those applicants who we will be considering will be contacted; but, we thank you for your resume and as we continue to grow we may contact you.
