Adecco is currently recruiting to fill a Project Coordinator job for our client in Woodstock, ON.  The Project Coordinator is responsible for Customer interaction, the supervision of all Supervisors, Team Leaders and Inspectors on all shifts. They would also be required to have an ability to go out and attract new customers both in the automotive and non-automotive sector. They would handle all budget requirements for their location. As well as deal with all employee disciplines, performance reviews, training, health and safety concerns.  Rate of pay for this position is $17/HR.

The responsibilities for the Project Coordinator job opportunity includes:

• Budget responsibility and expense approval
• Manage Supervisors, Team Leaders and Inspectors for work assignments
• Organize necessary travel plans for all off-site team members
• Participate in daily data transfer to customers
• Practice 5S
• Participate in the hiring and orientation of new employees
• Liaise with company customer representative for relevant customers
• Oversee shipping and receiving as it relates to customer requirements
• Foster an atmosphere of continuous improvements
• Adherence to all health and safety rules and regulations
• Actively solicit new business opportunities
• Responsible for performance appraisals for supervisors
• Gather all new customer information accurately and efficiently and is provided to the appropriate departments
• Procurement of tools and supplies related directly to work assignments
• All other duties as assigned

 
Qualifications:

• Previous automotive and leadership experience required
• Have a working knowledge of relative ISO procedures
• Have a strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle as local travel is required
• Have a clear criminal record
• Flexibility to meet customer service demands
• Completion of high school diploma or GED required
• Own CSA approved footwear
