About our Client:
It is our great pleasure to be involved in the recruitment process for one of our valued clients in southwestern Ontario. On behalf of a tier 1 automotive manufacturer in Woodstock; we are presently recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician.  This is a temporary to permanent position for the right individual. The wage is $25.00/hr + shift premiums + 4% vacation pay - direct deposit paid.  Various shifts available!

 

 

General Responsibilities:

·          Install, repair and maintain industrial plant equipment, machinery and facility services

·          Strong communication skills – oral, written and reading comprehension

·          Comply with Ontario Electrical Safety Code regulations for installations and modifications

·           Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical devices for diagnosing faults

·          Complete PM work orders of equipment to manufacturers’ recommendations or PM guide and provide feedback

·           Other duties as  assigned

 

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, applicants will need to have:

·          A valid Industrial Electrician or Construction and Maintenance Certification

·          At least 3-5 years experience in an automotive manufacturing facility

·          Must have PLC programming and programming experience as well as interpreting ladder logic for troubleshooting (Allan Bradley and Omron PLC’s)

·          Strong trouble shooting skills

·          Self Starter
