Job Description
Burling And Griffith takes pride in serving our London and area commercial and residential flooring customers. Options are the key word here, providing more of what our customers are looking for. We have standard business hours Monday to Friday – After hours by appointment.

Requirements
The position requires post secondary education in accounting or relevant work experience, however, no designation is required for this position. Candidates must be detailed oriented, highly organized and able to meet tight deadlines.
This is a part-time position of approximately 15-20 hours per week. (Ideally 9-1 five days per week). The wage is $18-20 per hour, dependent upon experience.

Key Responsibilities
The position is responsible for the full accounting cycle, including:
- Maintaining a full set of financial books and records
- Issuing cheques/pay invoices
- Preparing journal entries and general ledger accounting reconciliations
- Accounts receivables, payables and inventory functions
- Processing and maintaining payroll
- Ensuring compliance with Federal, Provincial and local corporate, payroll and other applicable taxes
- Reconciling all corporate banking transactions
- Performing daily routines and month end procedures
- Responding to various queries and requests from external accountants
The position also requires that you have a greater responsibility around our office. This includes:
- Providing general office duties
- Group benefits administration
- Maintaining office supplies
- Assisting with quotes and estimates
