Industrial Electrician

Our client, a global supplier of components for the automotive industry, operating in 20 countries and employing more than 30,000 people globally are looking to add an experienced Electrician to join their growing team. The opportunity includes a full benefit package including matching RRSP contributions. Located in Glencoe, Ontario this company is able to provide long-term career growth and training opportunities to production, trades and management teams.

Shifts Available: Straight Night Shifts (11 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.)
*lots of opportunity for OT*

Electrician Duties and Responsibilities:

•Performing new electrical installations and checking schematics
•Installing, dismantling, moving, and aligning machinery and plant equipment
•Repairing and upgrading existing electrical installations and updating schematic to code
•Programming all new PLC installations
•Repairing and troubleshooting existing PLC installations
•Providing input in the planning of new technology in the plant
•Providing input for the selection and ordering of electrical components
•Robotic experience is an asset

Electrician Qualifications:

•Licensed Electrician 309 or 442, High school Diploma
•Fall arrest and aerial lift training certificate is required
•Ability to work with minimum supervision, prioritize & organize work load
•Ability to interface with electronic devices (HMI)
