| Job Description: | Our client in the Woodstock area seeks a qualified and experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee the company. This position develops and implements plans and/or programs to ensure the most effective utilization of human resources to support the plant's objectives. This position is responsible for the administration of all HR policies and practices within the facility; manages and conducts employee training and development; assures implementation of the Company's compensation and benefits programs; works with site management to plan for human resource requirements; implements health, safety and other employee relations programs. Plans and programs must be strategically, operationally and tactically aligned with the Company's business drivers, objectives and change management initiatives RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing policies and programs in the areas of Team member relations, recruitment, training, succession planning, health & safety, wage and benefits administration and employee services. Hands on, day to day, application of the company's Human Resources programs, policies and practices. Ensure organizational compliance with all aspects of employment related legislation and regulations. Actively participate in the company's Health & Safety & Environmental programs/initiatives. Provide guidance/assistance to the organization with respect to the initiation of corrective action as needed. Prepare and implement yearly departmental action plans. Oversee the company's performance management system Responsible for the company's employee communication system Administer the plant's recruitment process for all positions to ensure the timely flow of high caliber talent into the organization. Work with operational management to identify and plan for human resource requirements to meet short and long-term business needs. Knowledge of budgetary systems and procedures and operations Know how of current information systems, procedures and operations Understanding of statistics, research and various analytical reporting methods |

| Experience: |
Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation preferred. A minimum of 5 years related HR management experience in a manufacturing environment. Must have demonstrated knowledge of all applicable laws and regulations governing employment and compliance. Must have good computer knowledge - Microsoft office. Must possess excellent human relations skills. |
