ADECCO is currently recruiting for a Material Handler/Overhead Crane Operator in Tillsonburg, ON. This is a long-term, Full-Time positions with the possibility of permanent hire!! Please apply online at www.adecco.ca today if you are eager to start working next week!!
Job Responsibilities for the Material Handler/Overhead Crane Operator include:
- Inspect incoming materials
- Operate Overhead Crane
- Stacking, loading and unloading of materials
- Identify components using part numbers; interpret bills of material
- Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Working with others in a team setting
- Keeping workstation clean and clear of hazards
- Loud, dusty environment
Qualifications for the Material Handler/Overhead Crane Operator :
- Previous production or heavy industrial/construction/farming experience
- Must have experience operating overhead cranes
- Must be able to use a grinder, ironworker, and various saws
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role requiring lifting 50-75 lbs regularly
- Proof of Grade 12 or GED required (or highest level of post secondary completed)
- CSA approved Safety boots or shoes
- Two work related references
- Must have own transportation to get to Tillsonburg
