Job Description
Our client in St. Thomas is recruiting for a Freight Analyst to join their team on a contract basis. This position is responsible for coordinating freight shipments and developing customer relationships.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all Import & Export Air Freight /Consolidation shipments
- Work with Consolidation warehouses on daily basis
- Carrier selection and rate negotiations
- Coordinate pick ups as required
- Expediting and tracing as required
- Liaise with customers
- Determination of Profit levels and billing
- Process required customs documentation
- Develop, implement and maintain department processes
- Develop customer relations
- Support as required in all Departmental Operations
Qualifications:
- Experience in intermodal, international freight forwarding industry.
- Strong Leadership skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational and decision making skills
- Self Motivated
- Excellent problem solving skills
- CIFFA/CITT graduate ideal
