Technical Support Advisor
StarTech.com is looking for talented, energetic, enthusiastic, and customer-focused bilingual individuals to join our Technical Advisory Team. If you have an interest in technology and the ability to learn about our products, we want to speak with you!
Reporting to the Supervisor, Technical Advisory Team, Technical Support Advisors provide technical support and advice to international StarTech.com resellers and end-users by phone, e-mail and live-chat.
Being a global organization means we are always looking for talented individuals who are fluent in English and one of the following languages to service our global customers: Italian, French, German, Dutch, or Spanish. At this time, we are also accepting resumes from "English-only" applicants. This position offers a competitive salary and benefit package as well as language and shift premiums. We also offer remote, work from home opportunities, with compensation arrangements for internet, hardware, and other tools to help you provide excellent service to our customers.

If You Enjoy
- Providing direct service to IT Professionals and end users via phone, live chat and email
- Consulting with customers on product specifications, features, benefits and fit for use
- Supporting the installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Startech.com products
- Relating to customers both technically and non-technically, and taking action that addresses all needs
- Documenting all relevant information in our CRM system
- Authoring and updating Knowledge Base Articles
- Fluency in English (plus one of the following: Italian, French, German, Dutch, or Spanish is an asset)
- Post-secondary education, preferably in an IT related discipline
- Relevant work experience (IT helpdesk, computer repair, incident management, computer technician)
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and history of making strong contributions to a team
- Knowledge of the IT industry, including connectivity, hardware and peripherals
- Flexibility for shifts :Monday-Friday 5am-9pm
