You are a detailed-oriented individual who is confident and competent in the use of donor databases. You are comfortable working on multiple tasks within a given day and are deadline driven. You utilize your excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with Society staff, volunteers and external partners. You are a natural with online and offline databases and fundraising platforms and your written and verbal communication skills are first-rate.
POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer of the ASLM, the Donor Database Officer will work within the Fund Development team to oversee the management of the Raiser’s Edge donor database system. The Donor Database Officer will report directly to the Fund Development Manager to ensure the accurate recording and reporting of donations, sponsorships and the set-up, tracking and reporting of event-related registration, ticketing and fundraising through various systems. The Donor Database Officer will also support Accounting and Operations through accurate data entry, coding and detailed report generation.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-secondary education in a related field and minimum two years’ experience in a similar role; equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered;
- Good understanding and demonstrated experience with donor or client databases; experience with Raiser’s Edge would be an asset;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with volunteers, staff and external organizations;
- Knowledge of donor practices and receipting guidelines is an asset;
- Strong organizational skills; ability to coordinate work on multiple projects;
- Preferred knowledge of with online payment or fundraising platforms
- Attention to detail for database entry, reporting and donor receipting;
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines;
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office;
- Knowledge and understanding of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias an asset.
