Reporting to the Finance manager, the Finance Assistant is responsible for the transactional accounting as well as the preparation and analysis of monthly and year-end financial statements and management reports.
With over 100 employees working out of our London, Ontario and Minneapolis, Minnesota offices, we are continually growing! - Generating and reviewing customer invoices
- Matching accounts payable invoices and receiving documentation
- Entering accounts payable invoices into our ERP system
- Matching vendor invoices and payments
- Reception back up
- Ad hoc projects as required
- Other duties as assigned
Skills & Abilities:
- You are a team-oriented, flexible and resourceful individual with the ability to work well autonomously with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail to ensure work is accurate
- Good communication skills are required as this individual will interface with a wide variety of staff, management, customers and vendors
- Thinks innovatively to suggest process improvements and efficiencies
Qualifications:
- Must have post-secondary education and/or past experience in an accounting role
- Must be hardworking with a desire to learn
