Job Description

Our client, a wellness center, is currently seeking a full-time Accounts Administrator on an evaluation hire basis. The ideal candidate would be highly professional, outgoing and love working with people. 

Duties (may include and not limited to)
•    Handle all new and on-going MVA paperwork
•    Complete online submissions for specific claims or information as needed
•    Follow up with select patients to gather further information for claims
•    Photocopy identification and other documents as needed
•    Follow up with select patients to collect outstanding amounts owed after claim submissions
•    Enter amounts claimed into QuickBooks
•    Utilize Microsoft Excel Sheets to input and keep track of current client information
•    Assist with the front reception as needed
•    General administrative tasks as required

Requirements
•    Minimum 2 year college diploma
•    Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative role
•    Must have previous experience with completing or assisting MVA claims within a healthcare setting
•    Experience with Accounts Receivable/Collections and Electronic Banking is an asset
•    Experience with QuickBooks or an accounting software is preferred
•    Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office
•    Above average communication skills both written and oral
•    Advanced human relation skills
•    Past experience in a health, wellness or fitness environment is an asset
•    Knowledge of holistic health care and/or passion for health is a must

Hours Full-time, Monday to Friday

Compensation Depending upon experience
