- Lead, communicate and support issues related to suppliers quality or delivery non-compliance issues
- Ensure effective immediate containment or interim measures to eliminate the negative impact of the non-conformances
- Follow-up and approve the supplier corrective actions and ensure timely and effective 8D closures
- Ensure a transparent costs collection and a timely supplier charge backs including a transparent management of the stocks on hold and their timely disposition
- Support as required the release of supplier engineering changes (PPAP) and follow-up
- Regular review of the supplier parts performance on annual validation or conduction of requalification audit as required
- Identify and maintain measurement of the quality performance for individual suppliers
- Initiate systemic action plan with suppliers to improve their quality performance including training/information of the supplier base
- Preventive communication to the other Brose locations regarding potential risks on common parts or suppliers using the Quality Alert share points
- Additional duties and responsibilities as required
Job Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of related working experience
- College degree in Quality Assurance or equivalent professional experience
- Problem Solving, GD&T, Statistical Methods, APQP/PPAP
- Process audit
- SAP knowledge preferred
