Kelly Services is currently recruiting for a variety of Permanent Pharmaceutical positions to work at Accucaps in Strathroy. 
 
Successful candidates will have an in-person interview at Accucaps on Friday April 10; application deadline is Sunday April 05, 2015.
 
Requirements for all positions:  
 

• Minimum High school diploma (GED or equivalent) *Canadian equivalency required, if applicable.
• Two (2) years’ experience in manufacturing or production.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical or GMP facility is a definite asset.
• Must be dedicated to high quality including an attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Safety conscious with the ability to follow all safety procedures.
• Clear criminal background check.

 
General Information:
 

• Full-time positions to start immediately.
• Paid shift premium ($1.50/hour for Nights & $0.75/hour for Afternoons.
• Overtime paid at 1.5x for any hours worked in excess of regularly scheduled shifts.
• Employees are provided with excellent Group Benefits and Registered Pension Plan, upon hire.
• Shift Work: 12 hour continental shifts (rotating days & nights) and/or 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday (rotating midnights, afternoons, days)

 
 
Pharmaceutical Operators ($14.49/hr): this position is responsible for finishing the manufacturing process.  Main duties include: polishing capsules, inspecting capsules for proper size, colour, printing, etc, prepping capsules for packaging.
 
 
Pharmaceutical Packaging Operators ($14.49/hr): this position is responsible for various duties on the packaging line.  Main duties include: Inputting data into the software and printing labels/forms, completing in-process inspection, transferring capsules onto packaging line, packaging product, assembling and labeling shippers, transferring packaged capsules onto skid for shipment and stages in warehouse.
 
 
Technical Operators - Packaging ($17.91/hr):
The Technical Operator works alongside the Packaging Operator performing various duties on the packaging equipment in order to create finished product containers or blisters packs, ensuring appropriate labeling, sealing or cartoning.  They will be involved in sanitation of equipment and/or facility and complete all documentation accurately and in a timely manner.  Additionally, the Technical Operator is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, completing minor repairs/ adjustments and set-ups of Packaging Equipment (including but not limited to: Bottle Line, Blister Line, and Cartoning Line).
Requirements - same as above plus:
 

• 2 years Mechanical Background
• Demonstrated technical ability as assessed through formal Accucaps testing (initially and ongoing)

 
 

Shipping and Receiving Coordinators ($18.12/hr): Receives and stores incoming material, ships outbound materials and assists with material and inventory tracking. Prepares and assembles all Customs, Brokerage, USDA, CFIA and Commercial invoice documents for outbound Finished Goods shipments,  co-coordinating of freight requirements for outbound Finished Goods shipments, cleans containers of incoming material prior to entry into the raw material warehouse.

Requirements - same as above plus:
 

• Capable of obtaining a Forklift Operator Certificate
• Competent user of any Material Resource Planning Software (i.e. Fourth Shift)
