Job Title: Senior Programmer/Technical Lead
Status/Type: Full-time - Limited Term (1 Yr.) 
Job Location: Robarts Clinical Trials Inc.,   London Ontario 

 
 
General Areas of Responsibility:
  • User requirements support
  • Documentation, estimation, development/programming and implementation of complex functional software designs
  • Mentoring and task assignments to programmers
  • Ongoing communication and collaboration with various business and project stakeholders
 
Qualifications:
 
Applicants should have a post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, or a related field of study (e.g. mathematics). Must have a minimum of eight (8) years of extensive programing experience and at least two (2) years’ experience mentoring and coaching less experienced programmers and analysts as well as functional knowledge of REST, SOAP, JSON , HTML and HTML5 and standard software development methodologies. Strong knowledge and experience in Perl web development, database design, revision control (GitHub preferred) and basic system administration (Linux) is desired.  Robarts Clinical Trials is a fast-paced team environment where change is the norm.  Successful candidates must exhibit enthusiasm, determination and initiative and be organized and detail oriented. Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and excellent Interpersonal skills.
