Job Description

OPERATIONS/WAREHOUSING/DISTRIBUTION MANAGER - LONDON

POSITION SUMMARY:
Complete responsibility in processing and expediting of orders, tracking shipments, maintaining warehouse and main facility in a safe and organized manner. Assist in off-loading inbound inventory container shipments and operate warehouse equipment to include a lift truck.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receiving and Verify Shipments Inbound/Outbound	Physically verify contents of shipments as received and sent Completing applicable paperwork Inspecting shipments for damages or shortages Receive and cross check with PO’s incoming sub-contracted materials – turn in paperwork to purchasing Load and unload shipments Organizing and maintaining computerized inventory at main facility and warehouse
Maintain Records	Recording purchase orders as received Regularly update online dockets with shipping information Regularly update warehouse inventory with current client inventory
Arrange Transportation	Coordinating transportation needs for shipping area for common carriers, Monitoring transportation of shipments for tracking purposes daily
Maintain Communication	Work closely with senior management
Maintain Safe Work Environment	Complying with company health and safety procedures
Contribute to Team	Be a team player

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

Previous warehouse distribution experience - 1-3 years
High School diploma or higher
Excellent organizational skills; attention to details and accuracy
Keyboarding skills for typing and terminals
Experience working with computers including MS Office
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record in good standing
Forklift training experience would be advantageous
Strong communication skills and service
