ADECCO, on behalf of our client is recruiting for a Key Account Sales Manager, permanent opportunity for their company in Huron County.

Our Client is a Grower/Shipper in the Agri Foods Industry with customers across Canada and in the US.  With suppliers and customers located in various locations, this job plays a key coordination role between many functional operations of the business.  This company is located in the strong farming community of Huron County and as a key relationship manager for both customers and suppliers some travel will be required.  This is an exceptional opportunity for someone with experience in the Agri Food industry to contribute to a business interested in growth and to expand your business and negotiating acumen.  We are looking for someone with great relationship management skills, strong communication skills to interact with colleagues and management as well as someone with a positive, can do attitude.  This position reports to the Vice President of Sales. 

Responsibilities include
  • Negotiating with customers and suppliers to provide a single point of contact for all services and processes relating to product procurement
  • Work with an assigned territory of customers and grow both sales base with existing customer in that territory and attract new customers that complement our business model
  • Assisting colleagues with Sales orders and daily customer management
  • Provide leadership in the liaison role between procurement and production
  • Collaborate on projects with customers and within the sales team
  • Provide market expertise on all supply and competitor activities
  • Present frequent updates on all activities
  • Some travel is required.
Skills Required Include
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Computer Proficiency required with an understanding of planning and presentation Tools
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organization skills and ability to support others in an organized way
  • Self-motivated to work independently with a willingness with develop leadership skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment, with a team that responds quickly to change
  • Experience working in the Agri-Food or Produce industry with an ability to develop a territory or channel
  • Comfortable working with numbers, projections and basic accounting and strong attention to net contributions
  • Demonstrated ability to grow and elevate a brand
  • Degree in Business Management or Marketing or equivalent an asset
