Job Description

The Sales and Marketing Advisor reports to the Sales and Marketing Manager and is a key member of the Sales and Marketing team whose focus is to:
  •  Connect active job ready clients with local employers (either through direct hire or volunteer work placement opportunities) in positions that are commensurate with individuals’ skills, training and qualifications
  • Market all clientele of WIL partnership projects;   LMIEC Mentorship for Immigrant Employment, LMIEC Job Match Network and the Access Centre for Regulated Employment.
 
The successful candidate will possess the ability to manage a caseload of active and job ready clients,  coordinate  the total recruitment cycle for our employer partners and participate in any employer support and business development initiatives.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop a comprehensive knowledge and inventory of education, skills, experience and job targets of job ready clients.
  • Manage an active client caseload, which includes coaching individuals through their job search process.
  • Match and market job ready clients to job orders and support our employers through their entire recruitment process. 
  • Actively participate in any business development, networking and community partnership initiatives as required.
  • Contribute to team administrative, data capture and reporting requirements.
 
Competencies:
  •  Post secondary diploma or degree.
  • At least 2 years of customer service or sales experience with a proven track record in setting goals and achieving objectives.
  • Previous recruitment experience or at a minimum, an aptitude for matching and referring clients to appropriate employment or volunteer opportunities.
  • Well developed communication, coaching and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency working with MS Word, Outlook and Excel as well as proprietary databases.
  • Well developed organization, time management and planning skills.
  • Well developed decision making and problem solving skills.
  • Must have use of a vehicle.
