Job Description
The successful incumbent will have a background in Developmental Services, Dual Diagnosis and Behaviour Management. They will be responsible for supervising the operation and evaluation of supports as assigned and for the management of the assigned support locations.
Duties will include leading staff in the implementation and monitoring of quality care supports; providing leadership and support to direct care staff.
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years full time experience and a graduate of a post-secondary education in human services; with proven interpersonal capabilities, demonstrated skills in conflict resolution, support or service planning, community development, budgeting, computer literacy, labour relations and a team player. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working with a multi-disciplinary team, as well as an understanding of behaviour support plans, and coaching teams in positive implementation of such plans. Must provide own transportation.
This position will include days, afternoons, evenings and weekends. This includes 24 hour “on call” responsibilities, shared amongst the team.
