Job Description
We are looking for a Sales Associate to approach and pursue all potential customers and provide a positive experience during the sales process, ensuring that all leads are systematically followed up and product sales are maximized. The Sales Associate will ensure purchasers receive consistently professional customer support to assist them through the entire process of purchasing a new home. This includes ensuring that all aspects of the current project are explained to the purchaser on an ongoing basis and completing all related sales documents in a thorough and timely fashion.

Responsibilities Include:
• Staff the Model Homes during assigned hours, depending on operational needs. Provide appropriate information or marketing package to visiting public with respect to their interests (ie one floor, two floor models), as well as any promotion in place at the time.
• Promote the area and the housing which we are producing. Accompany any customers on tours of the models or express homes to demonstrate attributes within the home as required.
• Follow-up with all potential clients on a regular basis, keeping accurate records within the sales system.
• Coordinate purchaser pricing of extras with the New Homes office and timely delivery to the purchaser
• Accurately complete all required paperwork as applicable.
• Ensure material required in the sales office, including literature, brochures, plans, handouts and forms, are ready for clients prior to open hours. Maintain the cleanliness of all areas, making frequent checks to ensure presentation and signage are in top condition.
• Minimum three years sales experience required in residential home sector.
• Be conversant with the values of homes for sale within the marketplace.
• Strong knowledge of new home construction and ability to read and interpret house plans
• Knowledge of land lease processes.
• Demonstrated customer service skills, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be self-motivated, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision
• Must be flexible with regard to hours of work and be available to work weekends
• Familiarity with computerized Sales programs and Microsoft Office
• skills, both verbal and written; effective approach demonstrated when coaching and providing feedback.
