TEMPORARY OFFICE AND CLERICAL ASSISTANTS

We are presently accepting applications for Temporary Office and Clerical Assistants for a need to work within schools in all areas of Thames Valley. The selected candidates will be placed on a temporary employee list to perform work on an “on call” basis and in long-term assignments.

*Applicants must be available on short notice and must be available Monday to Friday during the school year*

RATE OF PAY:                            $19.48 - $24.51 per hour plus 4% vacation pay

DUTIES TO COMMENCE:         2023 January

JOB SUMMARY: Temporary Office and Clerical Assistant employees are required to replace permanent Office and Clerical employees and perform work on an “on call” basis.

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must possess an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent with business and keyboarding (35 wpm) skills. The ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel is also required. Selected candidates must successfully complete the practical skills assessments.

EXPIRY DATE: 2022 November 30             

If you were educated outside of Canada, you must have your certificates and/or diplomas or degrees assessed against Canadian education standards. This will enable you to provide proof of Canadian equivalency when applying for a job.
