In this role you will assist the Team Leader in organizing workshop logistics, as well as tracking and following up on implementation and results.
Wage: To be determined based on experience
Position Requirements:
- Technical diploma / degree or equivalent experience in electrical or wire harness field.
- A minimum of three (3) years of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Must have effective communication skills, problem solving and analytical abilities, and be a self-starter.
- Individual must have the ability to manage multiple programs in a fast paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with scheduling and organizing workshops, customer meetings and reviews.
- Collect data, drawing packages, samples and ensuring availability at the workshop.
- Working closely with internal departments (Sales, Quoting, Engineering, Operations, and Advance Purchasing) to
ensure effective coordination between the groups, successful team building and effective workshops.
- Prepare workshop presentations.
- Prepare materials for the workshop and insert collected data in workbook.
- Attend workshops, especially ones with larger groups of people, to contribute ideas and assist in recording.
- Mark up drawings in conjunction with the design engineers.
- Load data into Quote Management System.
- Follow up with quote delivery and assist with reporting cost savings.
- Follow up with associated implementation of valid cost saving ideas.
- Other duties as assigned.
