433A MILLWRIGHT

Our client, a global supplier of components for the automotive industry, operating in 20 countries and employing more than 30,000 people globally are looking to add an experienced, Millwright to join their growing team. The opportunity includes a full benefit package including matching RRSP contributions. Located in Glencoe, Ontario this company is able to provide long-term career growth and training opportunities to production, trades and management teams.

Shifts Available: Afternoons OR Nights
*Straight shifts with opportunity for OT*

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricating structures and equipment from prints
  • Installing, dismantling, moving, and aligning machinery and plant equipment
  • Working from master layouts, body drafts and complicated blueprints
  • Using hand tools and precision measuring equipment
  • Instruct skilled trade’s apprentice or production support
  • Lockout trained
  • Ability to weld, brazing and cutting with proficiency
  • Contour changes and repairs to benders
  • Maintain compressors and all other plant equipment
  • Working with plant engineers on new equipment
  • PLC's for Allen Bradley, Omron robotics
  • Experience working with robotics / robots

Millwright Qualifications:

  • High school Diploma or GED and Licensed Millwright 433A
  • Fall arrest and aerial lift training certificate is an asset
  • Forklift experience considered an asset
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision, prioritize & organize work load
  • Knowledgeable in manufacturing safely and use all shop equipment proficiently
  • Ability to interface with electronic devices (HMI)
