Job Description
Maintenance Technician
My client, a Tier 1 provider to OEM for Automotive Manufacturing, with customers based solely in the USA and stability for the next 10 years. I am searching for a Maintenance Technician with 4+ years troubleshooting and maintaining Fanuc or ABB Robots, a strong work ethic, and a team player.Hours of Work: Rotating Day / Afternoon Shifts
Rotation is 4 Weeks Days + 2 Weeks Afternoons
(7 am to 3pm and 3pm to 11 pm)

Your day can really vary between 100% robotics with troubleshooting and preventative maintenance or maintenance activities. The client has over 18 Robots in the facility and more to come, they are expecting several new launch programs in the next few years.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Hands on experience with Fanuc Robotics for material handling manipulation
- PLC Programming from Scratch using Fanuc, Allen Bradley or Mitsubishi
- Experience programming Fanuc Servo Motors
- Experience programming multiple pick up’s and placing with robots
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will troubleshoot; perform preventive maintenance, service, program and repair, robots, mechanical/hydraulic and electric equipment including but not limited to:
- Repair, maintain, and modify machines and robots
- Complete scheduled maintenance activities on robots and automated welding machines
- Perform preventative maintenance assigned by supervisor
- Responsible for maintenance activities on assigned shifts including but not limited to assigning duties to maintenance personnel driven by production requirements
- Assist in developing and maintaining all critical spares necessary for daily maintenance requirements for both new and existing equipment
