Entry Level Software Sales Executive
 
 
THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are seeking talented, money motivated individuals who are looking to establish or build upon a career in sales.  Our B2B inside sales professionals are responsible for selling a range of web based entertainment content and software solutions to companies over the telephone by utilizing leading edge remote sales and social selling technologies.  Our solutions solve real world business problems for our customers; allowing them to easily create entertaining and engaging environments to influence their customers behaviors.  As a controlPLAY Sales Representative you will take a consultative selling approach to understanding the customer’s needs and then guiding the customer to the appropriate controlPLAY solution.  The ideal candidate will possess intellect, enthusiasm, great people skills, a willingness to learn and an ability to articulate a value proposition.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Daily Responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

§  Meeting and exceeding individual sales quota goals
§  Prospecting and calling leads within an assigned territory and conducting tailored, web-based presentations over the phone to showcase our wide product capabilities
§  Driving revenue by effectively addressing the customers’ business need, offering appropriate value proposition solutions, creating urgency, and closing accounts over the phone
§  Building and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline to achieve and exceed monthly sales quota
§  Thinking strategically to create and deliver product and pricing solutions that provide value to clients’ bottom line
§  Becoming a subject matter expert by acquiring ongoing marketplace intelligence by researching trends and best practices, reading business publications, seeking out learning and development opportunities and utilizing internal training resources
 
REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
§  0-3 years consultative sales experience, ability to articulate a value based proposition
§  Strong ability to initiate, establish, and nurture meaningful business relationships over the phone
§  Ability to maintain a high level of activity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively in a results-driven culture
§  Outstanding written and verbal communication, presentation and time management skills
§  Competitive, energetic, innovative, and flexible personality
§  Strong decision-making and organizational skills
§  Detail oriented and self-motivated
§  Able to work independently with minimal supervision; also can be an effective team member
§  Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the internet
 
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
§  Experience with technology and Internet deployed services
§  Sales and Marketing Diploma
§  Proficiency in use of Salesforce.com
Base salary plus uncapped incentive pay program.
