This is a specialized role for anyone who has Die Casting experience. If you've worked with Aluminum or in a similar manufacturing environment, we would love to hear from you! While experience with Idra is preferred, we're open to anyone with Die Casting or Melt Shop experience. This Die Casting Machine Operator position has become available because this company is growing. You would be training with a team of highly skilled individuals and assisting with the opening of a second plant.
Anyone who has die casting, melt shop or foundry experience will be considered!
Advantages

• $19.50 hourly to start
• Wages increases annually

• Shift rotations (2 weeks, morning, afternoons, days)
• Very secure - Large international company but the facility maintains a small-town feel
• Overtime after 40 hours (but no mandatory overtime)
• Canadian AND American holidays off
• Opportunity to progress into a Process Technician, long-term you will be helping engineer the parts
What will you be doing on a daily basis:
• Aluminum die casting with Idra machinery
• Putting molten metal under high pressure into a mould cavity
• Assisting a highly skilled team of Die Setters, Process Technician and Maintenance Techs
• Giving continuous feedback to the Leadership Team to help with constant process improvement
• Working on a computer with related software programs
Qualifications
What do you need to have to be considered for this position?
• We’re looking for someone with a minimum of 3+ years’ experience with Die Casting experience
• Ability to travel outside of Canada for training
• Knowledge in TS16949
• Not located on a local bus route, you will need your own method of transportation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Time-management skills
