Job Description
Agilus is recruiting for a SAP FS-CD Functional Analyst for a 12 month contract for our Financial Services client with offices in Winnipeg and London and Toronto.
This role be 100% remote while COVID restrictions are in effect and then be required to be in one of the 3 locations.
SAP Functional Analyst
Client is looking for an experienced Analyst to work on a multi-year Collections and Disbursements program which integrates legacy policy and billing systems for customer receivables with SAP FSCD.
The suitable candidate will have:
- 10+ years SAP experience, specifically implementing SAP FSCD for Insurance with deep SAP FS-CD functional and process expertise. Minimum 3 full implementations of SAP FS-CD.
- 5 years' experience in FS-CD configuration on billing/collection processes like Posting Documents, invoice, Broker report, Dunning, correspondence, Payments, Clearings
- Background in insurance industry and payment processes (collection & disbursement).
- Excellent understanding of the end to end SAP FS-CD process, experience in FSCD Master Data and payment plan items configuration.
- Experience providing design and develop matrix, process flow diagrams and functional specification documents for configuring the SAP system.
- Identify walkthrough existing business process and identify process gaps, provide detailed design document. Review and execute test functional scripts.
- Ability to analyze business requirements, identify areas of improvement and suggest alternative solutions
- Good experience in integrating FSCD with general ledger (GL).
- Ability to analyze business requirements, identify areas of improvement and suggest alternative solutions
- Provide guidance to junior members of the team regarding best practices, user exits, out of the box Reports and data management.
- You have excellent problem-solving skills, be a team player and have well-developed verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- You are dedicated, self-directed, motivated, proactive and inquisitive.
- Experience operating in multi-project, matrix managed environment
- You have experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) and Agile SCRUM methodologies.
- Contribute to all associated project work-streams ensuring appropriate knowledge and information is exchanged to drive successful project outcomes.
- Proficient in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Testing, Architecture Knowledge, Technical Solution Design
The SAP FS-CD Team Member requires an in-depth knowledge of accounting business processes and electronic Bank statement cash application, Dunning, customer statements and three of the four FSCM modules, Collections, Dispute Management, Credit Management, or Biller Direct.
What will make you stand out:
- Experience as the FSCD lead on 3-5 implementations.
- Requires Bachelor's degree or its equivalent (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Engineering (any field), Computer Science, or related field; and 5 years of experience with progressively higher responsibilities in the job offered or related technical/analytical role.
- Certification in SAP FICO
- Education equivalence based on combination of post-secondary education/degrees will be accepted
