Job Description
On behalf of our client in London, ON, we are recruiting for a
Purchases and Payments Analyst on a full time, permanent basis.
Purchases and Payments Analyst on a full time, permanent basis.
Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
- Proactively coach Profit Centre teammates to follow best practices to ensure purchases are accurately and efficiently processed
- Create and lead training sessions for profit centre teammates
- Identify departures from best practices and follow up with profit centre teammates as an opportunity to increase efficiencies
- Promote a culture of high expectations while fostering team work and execution
- Work closely with other teams to ensure compliance with best practices and encourage process improvement
- Implement a proactive approach to prevent inefficiencies within the purchases and payments process
- Develop strong working relationships with regional departments to ensure alignment of outstanding balances and payment expectations
- Completion of a University Degree
- Experience working in a financial role with a proven track record of high performance
- Professionalism and strong communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities and a sense of urgency
- Ability to develop a high level of trust and respect from internal customers
- Must be able to work well in a team environment
- Positive attitude and high energy level
- Ability to identify key issues and opportunities for improvement
- Bilingual communication is considered an asset
