Job Description
This automotive manufacturer is searching for a Human Resources Manager to oversee and lead the HR function in their unionized facility. The Human Resources Manager will report to the Plant Manager, and have the opportunity to make a difference within the entire organization. You will act and model the Vision and Values, inspiring everyone to reach further, go farther, and instead of seeing boundaries, see opportunities. You will look beyond the job description to innovate and explore.
As the Human Resources Manager leading the HR team you must be creative, collaborative, and innovative with an entrepreneurial spirit. You will have a high level of energy and creativity to oversee and assist in the new rollout of lean methodologies as well as other HR initiatives including employee engagement. This role will require a strong collaborative leader with great communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
• Degree/Diploma in Human Resources, Business, or related field
• HR Designation seen as an asset
• 7-10 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
• Must have excellent union and contract negotiation experience
