Pactiv Canada Inc. currently recruiting reliable and motivated people, interested in building a long-term career, to occupy Production Associate positions available in our London, Ontario facility! This full time position is an exciting opportunity, with contract-to-hire potential for qualified candidates. Previous manufacturing experience is ideal and full training is provided on the job. Key Job Responsibilities

1. Palletize finished goods according to specifications and customer requirements.
2. Operate case taper, changing tapes, cleaning rollers and clearing jams on taper as required.
3. Feed blank WIP into blank fed machines conveyor.
4. Drive forklift to move finished goods and materials.
5. Assist with general housekeeping in all production areas, to contribute to the success of the operation, as assigned by Supervisor.
    

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications

1. Must be willing to obtain and maintain Forklift Certification as per company guidelines.
2. Must have basic computer skills as required.
3. Must be a team player with good interpersonal skills but also be able to work independently.
4. Must be physically capable to perform all functions of the job.

Requirements

1. Must be willing to work Twelve (12) hour continental night shifts (7pm to 7am).
2. Must be available for full-time hours and maintain a perfect attendance record.
3. Must be capable of regularly lifting and/or moving up to 10 - 38 pounds.
4. Must be meticulous and have the ability of paying attention to detail.

Things You Should Know

• Public transportation is available, as location is on bus route, but own transportation will be (An Asset)
• Candidate must have a clean criminal record (background check will be done)

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $17.11/hour   plus 75 cents/hour for night shift

Required Education:  High School Diploma (Grade 12) or Equivalent Education (with Certificate)
