As a Commercial Director working with VAR Channel Sales, you will ensure service delivery to existing clients, and maximize revenue generation with some of our most complex accounts. You will be responsible for both VAR contract value retention and growth through contract expansion and the introduction of new products and services that the VAR’s can resell. Through consistent and meaningful live and phone-based conversations you will help senior IT Consultants and Managed Service Providers leverage their membership with Info-Tech to expand their consulting services.
Responsibilities
- Manage new and current VAR Members
- Build strong relationships with internal and external clients
- Ensure members understand and are utilizing the benefits of Info-Tech's products and services by evaluating a member’s needs and articulating our value proposition
- Maintain competitive knowledge & focus
Education
University degree or equivalent, preferably in business administration and/or sales management. MBA an asset.
Knowledge and Experience
- Ability to form relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Proven record demonstrating drive and ambition
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- 1-3 years of proven sales experience,
- Knowledge and exposure in the technology industry considered an asset.
