Job Description
Our client, located in Windsor, is recruiting for an HR/RECRUITING MANAGER to join their growing company.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
* Recruiting, orientation, onboarding, training and guidance, health and safety, WHIMS to new hires
* Training and guidance for existing staff of aproxx 500 employees, to include orientation, policies, proceedures and health and safety.
* Use strong communication skills and organizational abilities to conduct recruiting and employee testing programs.
* Collect ongoing data regarding employee satisfaction
* Maintain employees personnel files
* Conduct exit interviews
* Receive employee complaints and act to resolve them.
* Keep informed of current laws and regulations regarding employers and employees rights and obligations
* Advise management and employees on questions or problems relating to human resources.
* Screen, interview, conduct pre-employment tests and reference checks.
* Recommend qualified candidates for open positions at all levels of the organization.
* Handle orientation and paperwork for new hires.
* Place employment advertisements and/or analyze employment reports and trends.
* Gather other information as needed.
* Keep managers informed of anti-discrimination regulations and how to comply.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Undergraduate degree in Human Resources with CHRP preferred.
* 5-10 years of HR experience with strong knowledge and capabilities in the areas of Recruitiment, selection, training and development desired.
* High volume recruiting experience within manufacturing environment desired.
* Strong communication and leadership skills
