We have an opening for a Billings Clerk, this position is responsible for preparing the monthly and year end billings for a specific client.

The details of this position are as follows:
Job Duties:
- Review of work-in-progress docket reports for the client’s files in the London office;
- Determination of London files to be billed each month and at year end;
- Preparation of proformas; including the review of each time entry and disbursement to ensure all data is accurate and in accordance with client’s protocols;
- Review of proformas received from lawyers for accuracy prior to electronic submission to the client;
- Monthly administrative tasks related to billings such as file closings and write downs, as well as various other administrative tasks as time permits.
- Post-Secondary accounting education would be beneficial;
- Extensive experience in the billings process for our client;
- Good understanding of client directed time docketing and billing protocols;
- Experience in software applications including Elite, MS Access, Outlook, WORD, Excel;
- Demonstrated excellence in a direct-to-client service role;
- Strong attention to detail; focused and ability to manage changes in work processes;
- Analytical; a problem solver;
- Strong organizational and time management skills; self-starter;
- Good communications skills; demonstrated good judgement;
- Successful in interpersonal relationships;
- Excellent client-service and quality-service philosophy and motivation;
- Client confidentiality consciousness;
- Willingness to accept responsibility; demonstrate initiative.
