If you are passionate, talented marketing professional with clear focus on sales and customer service, then we want you to join our team. This position will be responsible to:
- Develop and implement new marketing strategies for subscription promotions, and collaborate in the development of related marketing materials
- Build and maintain solid, long-lasting relationships with clients based on trust, integrity, and exceptional customer service
- Increase paid magazine subscriptions through ongoing telephone sales campaigns, aimed at both retaining existing customers through renewals and attracting new subscribers
- Track, analyze and report on the results of promotions
- Respond to phone and email inquiries
- carry out reporting functions as assigned
- Participate in and excel at special projects as may assigned from time to time
- Maintain and update the database as related to sales department
- Formal education in sales and marketing
- Minimum two years proven sales and marketing
- Proficiency with software including Microsoft Office and database usage
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- The successful candidate will also:
- Be personable, outgoing, goal-oriented and energetic
- Have a strong work ethic and be punctual in keeping work and client commitments
- Demonstrate a results-oriented approach with a positive attitude, persistence, and a drive to succeed
- Have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

- Understand how to effectively overcome objections
- Be comfortable researching, prospecting, and confirming leads through both telephone solicitation and electronic means
